Job summary

Amber Court Assisted Living on Long Island is seeking a Working Chef to create nutritious meals for residents in a full-time, in-person role. You will prepare meals per Amber Court recipes, lead a diverse kitchen team, and ensure quality during busy service times.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of cooking experience; certification is preferred, and experience with adult care facilities is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of cooking experience (Required).
• Food handler’s license/certification preferred.
• Preference given to those with Adult Care Facility experience.

Responsibilities

• Create nutritious and delicious meals for residents under the direction of the Regional Food Services Director.
• Follow Amber Court Assisted Living recipes.
• Lead a diverse kitchen team in a fast-paced environment, promoting collaboration and staff morale.
