Job summary

Merrill Gardens at West Chester is seeking compassionate Senior Living Caregivers to support residents in daily activities and wellness in our welcoming community. Responsibilities include assisting with dressing, bathing, meals, medication management as allowed by state, and documenting progress.

We value reliability, kindness, and the ability to obtain state-required caregiver training and CPR/First Aid within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years' experience as a caregiver.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
• Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)
