Job summary

Merrill Gardens in Keller, Texas is looking for compassionate Senior Living Caregivers to assist our residents. You will support seniors with daily living activities while ensuring a caring environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing and bathing.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports.
• Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents.

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry, and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
• Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed (chart by exception).

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years of prior experience as a caregiver.
• Experience as MedTech preferred.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
