Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Caregiver for the Hawaii Kai assisted living community (Ivy at Hawaii Kai). The role covers all shifts in a full-time capacity, supporting residents with daily living activities and ensuring safety and dignity in every interaction.

The position emphasizes compassionate care for the elderly, strong customer service, and teamwork within a supportive community. Training is provided, with benefits and a structured work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly.
• Able to interact effectively with staff, residents, and families.
• Criminal background check and health screenings required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in ADLs per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents’ needs while preserving dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Report any changes in resident condition to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with co-workers and other departments.
