Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Auburn is seeking caring Senior Living Caregivers to support residents with daily living activities in a warm, respectful community. You’ll help with dressing, bathing, meals, and general care; manage medications as allowed by state regulations; and document progress daily.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.

The pay range for this position listed above will vary based on qualifications, experience, education/additional licensure, and other objective factors. Hiring at the maximum is not typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
