Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living seeks a Resident Assistant to provide compassionate personal care and support to residents according to individualized care plans. Under the guidance of the Healthcare Coordinator, you will assist with daily living activities, monitor wellbeing, and ensure safety and dignity.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, six months caregiving experience, CPR within 90 days, and completion of a medication management course.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum six months caregiving experience, preferably with elderly residents.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Completion of required medication management course.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record vital signs; report deviations to supervising nurse per ISP.
• Assist residents with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, nutrition, mobility, transfers).
• Follow ISPs and daily task sheets; communicate resident status changes to supervisors.
• Utilize standard precautions and infection control procedures.
• Maintain safe and clean resident environments; document resident progress.
