CareOne Hamilton Assisted Living in Hamilton, NJ is hiring a Recreation Assistant. We offer Full-Time, Part-Time & Per Diem opportunities across multiple shifts to support our residents’ quality of life through engaging activities.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and the ability to work flexible evenings and weekends. Prior experience in a Recreation/Activities role in long-term care and dementia activities is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings/weekends.
• Previous experience in a Recreation/Activities position in long term care preferred.
• Previous experience with dementia activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and assist with the activity programs of this facility.
• Participate in discharge planning, development and implementation of activity care plans and resident assessments.
