Qualifications

• Ability to plan daily activities that promote well-being for residents.
• Respect for residents’ dignity and abilities when designing programs.
• Strong record-keeping for attendance and resident notes.
• Flexibility to assist with monthly activity materials and events.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily, hands-on activities in a courteous, compassionate manner.
• Implement age-appropriate activities considering residents' abilities.
• Spend time with individuals to promote well-being and security.
• Assist with preparing monthly activity materials and calendars.
• Update and maintain Resident Likes & Dislikes for planning.
• Fill in Daily Activity Boards with dates and times.
• Maintain attendance records and notes on behavioral issues.
• Submit documentation to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Assist with purchasing needs/materials for activities.
• Positively promote activities and encourage participation.
• Hiring manager to discuss work hours, days and shifts.
