Job summary

Arvum Senior Living in Kentucky is seeking a proactive Recreation and Activities leader to plan and run engaging programs for residents across lifestyle, memory care, and independent living settings.

You will recruit volunteers, supervise a team, coordinate calendars and events, and maintain relationships with residents, families and volunteers, ensuring compliance with regulations and a high quality of life.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Recreation, Education, Gerontology, Social Work, or Adult Education.
• Three to five years related experience.
• Two years supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules and conducts lifestyle programs for residents.
• Recruits and develops resources for services to residents.
• Advises and motivates residents regarding activities and growth opportunities.
• Coordinates calendar creation, events, and community newsletters.
• Supervises staff across the Celebrations Department and coordinates volunteers.

Education
