Qualifications

• Experience in recreation, activities, healthcare, or customer service preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting is a plus.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative, energetic, and team-oriented personality.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents
• Encourage resident participation and engagement in programs and events
• Help organize group activities, games, outings, entertainment, and holiday events
• Provide one-on-one interaction and support for residents as needed
• Set up and clean activity areas before and after programs
• Assist with transporting residents to and from activities when necessary
• Maintain a positive, friendly, and supportive environment
• Document participation and attendance in accordance with facility procedures
• Work collaboratively with the Recreation Department and interdisciplinary team
