Job summary

The Arbor Company is seeking Part-Time and Full-Time Activities Assistants to bring joy to seniors and create meaningful moments through engaging activities, events, and one-on-one connections. You will work with residents, including those living with dementia, in a supportive team.

Starting at $18.00/hour with alternating weekends, you’ll enjoy flexible scheduling, paid time off for all staff, and opportunities for growth in a caring, senior-living environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with seniors in activities, recreation, education, caregiving, or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working with older adults, including those living with dementia.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead fun, interactive activities, events, games, crafts, music, fitness, and outings.
• Build genuine relationships with residents and encourage participation.
• Support residents with varying cognitive abilities, including those living with dementia.
• Help create memorable experiences that promote purpose, independence, and joy.
• Work as part of a compassionate team dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors.
