Sunrise Senior Living in Cupertino, CA invites you to join as an Activities Assistant to lead daily activities, events, and enrichment programs for residents. You will help create meaningful experiences that enhance well-being and community connections.

You will encourage resident participation, assist with calendars/newsletters, escort residents as needed, and maintain organized spaces. The role includes coordinating with volunteers and partners and documenting engagement per regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead small group activities.
• Valid driver’s license (as applicable).
• Senior living experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading daily activities, events, and enrichment programs.
• Encourage and support resident participation.
• Help prepare activity calendars and newsletters.
• Escort residents to and from programs as needed.
• Maintain organized activity spaces and supplies.
• Support volunteer engagement and community partnerships.
• Document participation per regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate changes appropriately.
