Job Title: Live Underwriters

Qualification: Any Graduate or Above

Relevant Experience: 2 to 10 Years

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. The Conventional Underwriter reviews, conditions, and underwrites mortgage loans according to established policies, procedures, and guidelines; examines all documentation for accuracy and completeness.
2. Review and analyze mortgage loan applications to ensure eligibility, accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines to minimize risks.
3. Review all required loan data, reports, and inspections to ensure collateral acceptability.
4. Make independent decisions regarding loan acceptance and risk following HUD, company, and investor guidelines.
5. Provide final approval for mortgage loan underwriting.
6. Complete all required paperwork and forms accurately and timely; prepare necessary forms.
7. Sign off on conditions set by management promptly.
8. Collaborate with staff and management to resolve escalated loan issues.
9. Recommend improvements for internal audit policies and practices.
10. Manage loans using all functions of Encompass.
11. Communicate underwriting decisions effectively with processors and advisors.
12. Maintain high customer service and communication standards with other departments.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Location: Mumbai

CTC Range: Up to 16 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum)

Notice Period: Immediate to 45 Days

Shift Timing: US Shift
