Job summary

Thompson Law Injury Lawyers in Houston seeks a Litigation Paralegal to support a fast-paced team handling commercial trucking and general negligence in Personal Injury matters. You will draft petitions, manage discovery, and maintain proactive client communication while organizing electronic case files and assisting with trial preparation.

Requirements include 5+ years of litigation and 3+ years PI experience, federal procedures, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience with trucking and general negligence cases.
• 3+ years of Personal Injury law experience.
• Expert knowledge of federal court procedures, including filing and management.
• Proven success handling cases valued in the 6–7 figure range.
• Comprehensive litigation experience from filing through trial and resolution.
• Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and case management software.

Responsibilities

• Draft petitions, motions, and other legal documents.
• Manage the discovery process, including drafting and responding to requests.
• Maintain proactive client communication throughout litigation.
• Organize and maintain comprehensive electronic case files.
• Collaborate effectively with attorneys and team members.
