Job summary

Germer PLLC is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in our Insurance/Personal Injury Defense and Products Liability teams. The successful candidate will manage the docket from inception through trial or dismissal, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

This role requires strong organizational skills, independent thinking, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent litigation paralegal experience, preferably in defense litigation.
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court filings, and case management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Paralegal Certificate or degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with case management from inception through resolution.
• Draft, prepare, and revise pleadings, correspondence, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Coordinate court filings and e-filing.
• Organize and maintain case files and document productions.
• Track deadlines and maintain calendars.
• Retention and coordination of expert witnesses.
• Assist with deposition and trial preparations.
• Provide additional administrative and litigation support as needed.
