D3 Search is seeking a Senior IP Litigation Paralegal for a respected AMLAW-ranked international law practice based in Los Angeles, CA. This full-time, direct-hire role supports the IP Litigation Department, partnering with attorneys and junior paralegals to manage complex IP matters and prepare court-ready documents.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of IP litigation experience, trial exposure, and strong research, with proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IP litigation experience required.
• Trial experience and leadership of trial teams required.
• Strong ability to manage discovery, document production, and complex cases.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex IP cases and support attorneys and paralegals.

D3 Search is seeking a Snr. IP Litigation Paralegal candidateon behalf of a respected AMLAW ranked international law practice with a thriving office situated in Los Angeles, CA (90071).

Snr. IP Litigation Paralegal

• Note: 10+ years of IP litigation & trial experience is required.

Full-time/direct-hire employment. Non-exempt role (OT in accordance w/ CA laws).

Join a high-performing legal team where your expertise will directly support the firm's IP Litigation Dept./Group. In this dynamic Snr. IP Litigation Paralegal role, you’ll partner closely with attorneys and other paralegals to effectively manage complex IP cases, demonstrate insight into legal procedures, and apply technologies to maximize efficiency in carrying out assignments. From conducting in-depth research to preparing court-ready documents, your contributions will play a key role in achieving successful outcomes for this highly respected IP litigation dept./group.

• Apply broad set of knowledge and skills to effectively manage complex cases, demonstrating insight into legal procedures, project management, cost efficiencies, and collaborative skills; effectively identify, promote, and apply technologies to maximize efficiency in carrying out assignments.
• Manage complex cases; develop relationships, internally and externally, to gather data and information and to create networks of relevant resources and services.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize assignments appropriately; determine and implement effective organizational and procedural methods.
• Review and analyze documents and data, perform procedural and factual research with understanding of client, matter, and business needs; provide insightful analysis, recommendations, and solutions to further case objectives.
• Create and maintain, or oversee maintenance of, files, documents, and data.
• Prepare and edit a range of written materials, including correspondence, memoranda, drafts of legal documents, and factual analyses.
• Oversee and provide guidance to other paralegals and temporary staff, as needed, through training and mentoring; provide feedback as appropriate on performance.
• Comply with administrative requirement to meet billable expectations; prepare and release timenotes on a daily basis; prepare and submit timecards on a weekly basis.

Skills, Qualifications & Competencies:

• Minimum of ten years of relevant experience in IP Litigation required
• Trial Experience required and experience leading trial teams required.
• Significant experience in managing discovery requests, responses, and document production
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Strong sense of accountability, with a proactive approach to ownership and problem-solving
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to follow complex instructions accurately
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform effectively under pressure
• Strong research, analytical, and data synthesis skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet client and business demands
• Willingness to travel as required
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
