LHH is seeking experienced attorneys in the Philadelphia area to take immediate responsibility for active civil-defense matters and help lead junior lawyers.

Opportunities target senior associates, counsel, and junior partners with a focus on case management, client service, and leadership rather than portable originations. Candidate profiles emphasize litigation depth and strategic oversight with PA/NJ admission strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Approximately 7–15+ years of litigation experience.
• Recent civil-defense, casualty, general-liability, transportation, or insurance-defense experience.
• Ability to independently manage significant files.
• Strong client-service and relationship-management skills.
• Deposition, discovery, motion, mediation, and settlement experience.
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior attorneys.
• Sound strategic judgment.
• Stable employment history and a genuine interest in a long-term platform.
• Pennsylvania admission.
• New Jersey admission strongly preferred for certain positions.
• Trial experience is beneficial but not mandatory for every role.
• No portable book required for several current opportunities.

LHH is working with established Philadelphia-area litigation practices seeking experienced attorneys who can assume immediate responsibility for active civil-defense matters and help lead junior lawyers.

Portable business is not required for several of the current positions because the firms have existing work that needs experienced oversight.

Current opportunities include base compensation reaching approximately $200,000 and above for qualified senior candidates, depending on experience, title, and platform. Bonus structures and benefits vary by firm but are significant.
