Kiernan Trebach is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney with jury trial experience to join our growing New England practice. This position offers a balanced caseload, strong support staff, and the opportunity to handle substantive litigation work in New Hampshire courts.

We are seeking new Attorneys with 10+ years of experience in Insurance Defense to join our team. Your role will be to defend a variety of matters in our growing New England practice.

What You Will Do:

As an Attorney at our firm, you will:

• Handle all phases of litigation, from pleadings through discovery and motion practice including drafting legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft motions, briefs, and discovery responses.
• Appear in court and work directly with clients.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys and strong support staff.
• Conduct legal research, analyze data, and develop strategies for cases.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as necessary.
• The ability to work independently from suit inception to settlement/trial is preferred.

What You Will Bring:

Our ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:

• Experience with Insurance Defense.
• Employment Law, Construction Defect, and/or Commercial Trucking Law experience is a plus.
• Experience writing motions and other legal memoranda, summarizing depositions, and trial preparation is preferred.
• The ability to work independently from suit inception to settlement/trial is preferred.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Civil jury trial experience.
• Ability to manage cases independently while working as part of a team.

Required Education & Licensure:

• Juris Doctorate Degree (J.D.)
• Active Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut Bar Licensure, and/or ability to transfer UBE scores (a plus).
