Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. in Orlando seeks a Linux System Administrator to provide technical support for RedHat Linux, VMware, backup and recovery, and system hardening.

The role requires after-hours on-call and a base salary of $95k–$112k, with bonus eligibility, aligned to experience. You will configure LDAP, create Linux scripts, manage virtual systems, and collaborate with management to implement security and operational processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, CS or equivalent required.
• Experience with Ansible, Tower or similar automation tools.
• Proficient in Linux system administration and scripting.
• Experience with VMware administration and Horizon.
• Knowledge of LDAP and storage concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develops and promotes standard operating procedures.
• Ensures data integrity and security across systems.
• Configures LDAP and writes shell/PHP/Perl scripts.
• Maintains VMware-based virtual environments and storage.
• Mentors other technical staff and supports management on security.
