Avid Technology Professionals System Engineer 6 * San Antonio, TX seeks a Senior Linux Systems Administrator with networking experience to support a malware analysis modernization program. You will help develop, operate, and maintain mission-critical enterprise capabilities in an Agile/DevOps environment.

Ideal candidates will have expertise in RedHat Satellite, FreeIPA, VMware, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Cisco networking, with hands-on experience in vSAN, Pure Storage, and monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• Expert Linux admin with RedHat Satellite and STE/STN policy enforcement.
• Experience with FreeIPA identity management.
• VMware ESXi/vCenter administration.
• Ansible playbooks for automation tasks.
• Cisco network design and troubleshooting.
• Kubernetes RKE2 cluster management.
• Confluence, Jira, GitLab familiarity.
• Pure Storage/VMware vSAN administration.
• Infrastructure monitoring tools experience.
• Bash scripting proficiency.
• MongoDB cluster management (desirable).
• Trellix FireEye appliances familiarity (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Support malware analysis modernization program within a large software development effort.
• Operate and maintain mission-critical enterprise capabilities.
• Apply Agile, DevOps, and test-driven development practices.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, outages, and connectivity bottlenecks.
• Manage infrastructure automation tasks and configuration.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver modern cyber analysis tools.
