Ladders is seeking a Senior Linux Systems Engineer - EDA Infrastructure to join a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. Focus on reliability, security, and automation of Linux-based production environments that support high-performance engineering workloads. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Compensation: $184,000 – $356,500 annually. You will drive infrastructure improvements across configuration management, deployment workflows, telemetry

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with RPM-based Linux distributions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong track record in Infrastructure as Code and centralized deployment management.
• Deep understanding of virtualization and container technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, or Go.
• Strong networking fundamentals, including OSI layers and modern networking.

• Maintain and secure Linux operating systems for production environments.
• Lead automation of configuration management and deployment workflows.
• Develop tooling to automate operational tasks and integrate telemetry.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Linux Systems Engineer - EDA Infrastructure to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This role will focus on the reliability, security, and automation of Linux-based production environments that support high-performance engineering workloads. You will drive infrastructure improvements across configuration management, deployment workflows, telemetry integration, and networked storage to help enable efficient operations. The position partners closely with engineering and operations stakeholders to strengthen platform stability, streamline delivery, and support scalable technical environments.
