Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in administration of Linux/Linux operating systems.
• Experience with operating system performance monitoring and tuning.
• Experience supporting database server environments (MySQL, Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Design, installation, configuration, tuning, and optimization of LINUX systems.
• Plan, document, and configure Logical and Physical layouts.
• Take part in 24X7 on‑call rotation.

Skills

Expert level configuration and support experience with Linux/Linux.

Experience with RedHat Satellite, Capsule and Proxy.

Linux Security Framework knowledge (PAM, KDC/LDAP, SSH key management).

Experience with configuration management tools and processes.

Excellent communication, problem solving, and teamwork skills.

Education

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related work experience.
