DCCA is a veteran-owned high-technology company delivering IT services to government agencies and commercial enterprises since 1982. We are seeking a Linux System Administrator to install, configure, and maintain Linux OS environments, with AWS cloud and STIG security experience.

Qualifications

Five (5) years of experience as an OS SA, preferably in an AWS Cloud environment.
Minimum 3+ years of experience with LINUX environments.
Minimum 3+ years providing operations support.
Ability to work with 3rd party hosting team preferably Cloud Service Provider.
Ability to configure Linux servers from scratch, including disk layout and partitioning, operating system installation, and package configuration.
Demonstrated ability in network troubleshooting, basic understanding of network concepts.
Demonstrated ability in preparing and editing technical documentation.
Ability to automate day to day operations through the use of bash, perl, or python scripting.
Expereince with adhering to and implementing OS Secuity and STIG requirements
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Willingness to learn and take direction.
Must be able to interact effectively with customer, developers and end-users
