Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Linux System Administrator to join a large DoD program in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on managing Linux-based systems, ensuring uptime, and supporting secure network operations.

Responsibilities include installing and configuring LAN/WAN components, monitoring network availability, and assisting in planning and coordination with hardware and software teams. A Secret or Top Secret clearance is required, and Security+ certification is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4 years experience, or an equivalent path (e.g., Associate with 6 years or 8 years without degree).
• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance required.
• Strong Linux experience and Security+ certification required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support LAN/WAN/Internet systems or a segment of a network system.
• Monitor network to ensure availability to all system users and perform maintenance to support network availability.
• Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
• Administer network security measures.
