Job summary

Erias Ventures is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance systems in Linux environments, with emphasis on geospatial processing and SDR-focused capabilities.

The role requires a Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance and 14+ years of SWE experience, bachelor's in CS or related field, and strong Git/GitLab and Agile skills. On-site work in Annapolis Junction, MD with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Fourteen (14) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Proficiency with Linux development environments and modern C++/Python/Java/JavaScript toolchains.
• Experience with Git, GitLab, IDEs, and Agile frameworks (Scrum) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems such as analytics, large data processing, real-time systems, and business information systems.
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements; document results and resolve issues.
• Provide input to system design including software/hardware tradeoffs, reuse, and requirements analysis from system level to components.
