Job summary

Trinity Atlantic Partners in Baltimore, MD seeks a Linux Engineer to maintain and optimize Linux infrastructure for high availability and performance. The role involves installing, configuring, and securing Linux systems, with collaboration across teams to integrate new tech.

A Bachelor’s in CS/IT and 5+ years of Linux experience are required, with preferred LPIC/RHCE certifications. The position is full-time, based in Baltimore, with negotiable salary and comprehensive benefits including health

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Linux administration and support.
Strong understanding of Linux system administration, networking, and security.
Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
LPIC/RHCE or equivalent certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and workstations.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
Develop and implement security protocols to protect our systems and data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
Document system configurations and processes for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
