Job summary
A leading geospatial solutions provider in Virginia is seeking a Linux Administrator to perform high-level operational maintenance and support for complex operating systems. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in Linux administration and be skilled in networking protocols, scripting, and cloud technologies. The role includes troubleshooting, software installations, and ensuring optimal system performance. This position requires US citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance is preferred.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of related experience in Linux administration.
- Experience with RedHat, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Shell.
Responsibilities
- Perform operational maintenance and support for servers.
- Coordinate complex software installations and upgrades.
