Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior in Supply Chain Manufacturing to design, build, test, and deploy digital solutions for regulated plant operations across pharma/biotech/medical-device clients. You will connect production, quality, lab, engineering, and supply chain needs with deployable technology and work through the full delivery lifecycle.

You will own deliverables, resolve issues, and translate shop-floor workflows into testable requirements, collaborating with operators, IT, and data teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, information systems, computer science, supply chain, or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant Life Sciences manufacturing, manufacturing systems, automation, or related experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical-device regulated environments and process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess workflows, user needs, system interfaces, data, and pain points through observations and data review.
• Document process flows, user stories, functional requirements, data mappings, and acceptance criteria for digital solutions.
• Support design and implementation of MES, eDHRs, recipe Management, batch governance, and connected-worker workflows.
• Trace data across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, historians, SCADA, DCS/PLC; identify data gaps and integration needs.
• Develop and review equipment/batch hierarchies, data-quality rules, and contextual datasets with manufacturing and data teams.
• Collaborate on interface specifications, APIs, and industrial connectivity between plant, edge, and enterprise systems.
• Prototype solutions and document design decisions for review by clients and technical leads.
• Prepare and execute functional and integration test scripts with traceability to requirements.
• Support deployment readiness, cutover, user training, and post-go-live support with clear documentation.
• Coordinate with client quality/validation teams on GxP, data integrity, and computer system validation.
• Contribute to analytics/AI use cases by assessing data quality and manufacturing context.
• Communicate progress, risks, and next steps to client counterparts and leaders.
