Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a life sciences field.
• 2+ years of laboratory experience in life sciences.
• Experience with human biology labs and safety standards.
• Experience handling research rodents.
• Ability to lead lab safety procedures and compliance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with data acquisition and database operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan lab exercises with lecturers.
• Test and conduct experiments, exercises and demonstrations.
• Construct, adapt or acquire specialized lab equipment for instruction or research.
• Provide technical assistance for pre- and post-experiment preparations in Human Biology labs.
• Maintain research facility in orderly, operable condition.
• Control and monitor supply inventories.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards of lab operations.
