Job summary

Lincoln Financial Group is seeking a Lead Actuary for the Life Reinsurance team in Radnor, PA. The role blends life‑product expertise with reinsurance analytics to manage inforce arrangements and implement new solutions.

You will partner with reinsurers and internal stakeholders to develop cost‑effective programs, mentor actuaries, and lead cross‑department reinsurance projects in a hybrid setting.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of actuarial experience aligned with responsibilities.
• Actuarial credentials (FSA or ASA) required.
• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of comparable work experience.
• Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Excel VBA.
• Life product knowledge and reinsurance business knowledge.
• Nice-to-haves: Python, Tableau, Dataiku and Oracle SQL databases.
• Familiarity with reinsurance regulatory, reserving and capital frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Life product knowledge: explain reinsurance implications to reinsurers.
• Reinsurance modeling and analysis: assess cost‑effective solutions.
• Actuarial/technical support: maintain models and governance.
• Reinsurance relationship management: build partner relationships.
