Job summary

Diversified Brokerage Services, a part of NFP and an Aon company, seeks a Vice President of Advanced Concepts and Training to lead life insurance planning strategies and educate financial professionals, clients, and partners through technical insight and practical training.

The role requires JD with strong experience in advanced planning, excellent communication, and travel up to 20% as needed to support field leadership and conferences.

Qualifications

• JD required; advanced credentials (CLU/ChFC/CFP) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in advanced life insurance planning or related consultative roles.
• Brokerage industry experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to develop compelling, compliant and results‑driven sales concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver advanced life insurance planning strategies across business, estate and personal contexts.
• Create white papers, sales concepts, and materials addressing regulatory issues.
• Design and lead advisor training programs in‑person and virtual.
• Collaborate with leaders, attorneys, CPAs to craft client‑specific solutions.
• Serve as a technical resource in conferences, webinars, and client meetings.
• Monitor legislation and tax trends and interpret their impact on planning.
• Coordinate with marketing/product teams to ensure accurate messaging.
