Job summary

The Springs Living - Clackamas is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to plan and lead engaging activities that promote socialization, well-being, and fun for residents. You will help create monthly calendars, coordinate events, and support a vibrant community.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, compassionate, and reliable, with experience working with seniors. Weekend availability is required, and CPR/First Aid is preferred. This hourly role offers meaningful work within a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with seniors, families, and team members.
• Basic computer skills including email, Microsoft Office, and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating and distributing monthly activity calendars.
• Communicate upcoming events through flyers, announcements, and postings.
• Help decorate the community for holidays, special events, and seasonal celebrations.
• Lead group activities, games, classes, outings, and special events.
• Encourage resident participation and engagement.
• Foster meaningful social connections among residents.
• Ensure scheduled activities occur as planned and provide alternatives when necessary.
• Safely transport residents using community vehicles as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and activity records.
• Support community events and special programs.
• Collaborate with team members to create memorable resident experiences.
