The FDVA Nursing State Veterans’ Nursing Homes are designated employment sites for the Nursing Student Loan Forgiveness Program.
From funds available, the program may make nursing education loan repayments of up to $4000 per year, per nurse enrolled in the program, for a maximum of four years.
Payment is made at the end of each 12-month enrollment period and made directly to the participant’s lender. Enrollment and payment of awards is based on available funds.
*OPS SLPN Weekend Warrior program may be available at the rate of $25.21/hour. The eligible shifts are from Monday to Thursday 7PM to 7AM, and all shifts Friday through Sunday. You must work at least one shift during the pay period. Not a full-time position and does not have benefits.
