Elizabeth Hales Design in Salt Lake City seeks a Licensed Architect / Creative Project Manager to lead luxury residential and boutique hospitality projects from concept through completion. This senior, design-focused role requires translating client visions into architectural concepts, confidently leading clients and teams, and ensuring momentum across all project phases.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect with 6–8+ years of professional architectural experience
• Proven experience leading architectural projects and project teams
• Strong conceptual and schematic design capabilities
• Experience managing projects from early concept through construction
• Excellent client communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills
• Luxury residential and/or boutique hospitality experience strongly preferred
• Must currently live in or be willing to relocate to Salt Lake City, Utah; in-office Mon-Thu; Fridays remote

Responsabilités

• Lead architectural programming, conceptual design, and schematic design for assigned projects
• Establish and develop the overall architectural vision including floor plans, massing, circulation, exterior architecture, materiality
• Translate client goals and site opportunities into cohesive architectural concepts
• Lead presentation and communication of design concepts to clients throughout the design process
• Maintain design integrity from schematic design through construction administration
• Serve as primary architectural project leader with accountability for direction, milestones, and deliverables
• Direct and mentor architectural team members and coordinate with Interiors, engineers, and consultants
• Coordinate with Operations on schedules, staffing, and hour allocations
• Coordinate with Technical Quality on codes, documentation, permitting, and QA/QC
• Anticipate design and project challenges and proactively maintain momentum
• Participate in early client meetings and prospective conversations
• Communicate EHD's design process and architectural approach to clients
