Job summary

Fanatics is seeking a Senior Designer, Licensed Apparel Graphics to lead the design of seasonal graphics for licensed apparel, translating direction into production-ready designs and toolkits. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure brand vision, licensing compliance, and production feasibility.

You will mentor junior designers, drive innovation with AI-enabled insights, and maintain high standards while delivering on aggressive timelines in a hybrid NY office.

Qualifications

• 8 years of professional graphic design experience focusing on licensed and/or apparel design.
• Expert-level skills in typography, color theory, layout, and composition.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, with AI design platforms and a view on integrating AI into product creation.
• Deep understanding of apparel product development, including production techniques and technical requirements of licensed design.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects autonomously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience mentoring junior designers and fostering collaborative team dynamics.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to sell design concepts to leadership and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to align graphics with product goals, assortment strategy, and licensing needs.
• Mentor junior designers and provide hands-on guidance and feedback.
