In this role, the Senior LPM advances the firm’s strategic goals by improving efficiency, quality, profitability, competitive position, and client satisfaction associated with legal service delivery. This role is accountable for end-to-end delivery across multiple interdependent projects and portfolios, establishing appropriate governance, aligning stakeholders, and resolving complex delivery challenges with substantial autonomy. The Senior LPM serves as a trusted adviser to relationship partners, senior lawyers, clients, and business professionals and as a senior resource and escalation point for LPM colleagues.

This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

What You'll Do
  • Lead complex legal project management initiatives and matter portfolios, providing strategic oversight for project planning, governance, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, and successful delivery of high-profile clients and firm engagements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to attorneys, clients, and business professionals, driving stakeholder alignment, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, developing innovative solutions, and enhancing the efficiency, quality, and profitability of legal service delivery.
  • Advance Legal Project Management excellence through leadership, mentorship, and continuous improvement, including financial analysis, process optimization, technology implementation, training, and the development of scalable methodologies, workflows, and best practices.
What You'll Bring
  • Extensive legal project management and legal operations experience, including at least five years leading complex, high-visibility projects and matter portfolios within a law firm or professional services environment, with demonstrated expertise in project governance, stakeholder management, resource planning, risk mitigation, and end-to-end project lifecycle management.
  • Advanced business, financial, and technical acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, pricing, profitability analysis, financial reporting, matter management, and legal project management technologies, as well as the ability to evaluate and implement innovative solutions that drive operational efficiency, scalability, and client value.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, mentor colleagues, facilitate complex decision-making, manage organizational change initiatives, and deliver successful outcomes in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling, including expertise in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and reporting tools to develop complex models, dashboards, scenario analyses, and repeatable reporting solutions that support matter management, portfolio oversight, and strategic decision-making.
  • Extensive experience designing and optimizing project management and collaboration solutions, leveraging Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, and SharePoint to create scalable workflows, manage project schedules and dependencies, streamline reporting, and enhance visibility across complex portfolios and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong process improvement and information management capabilities, with advanced skills in Microsoft Visio and related technologies to develop process maps, workflow documentation, governance standards, and best practices that drive operational efficiency, consistency, and stakeholder adoption across the organization.
  • PMP, J.D., and/or MBA credentials.
