Solutus Legal Search is assisting a leading global specialty chemicals company in hiring a Senior Legal Counsel. The role reports to the Vice President, HSE Policy and Deputy General Counsel, and is based at the U.S.

headquarters just outside of Philadelphia. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience with corporate and commercial agreements, strength in drafting and negotiating, and a track record in handling complex matters across regions.

Qualifications

• J.D. from a U.S. law school and bar admission in at least one state.
• 5+ years of relevant corporate/commercial experience.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating diverse commercial agreements.
• Experience supporting M&A due diligence and integration is a plus.
• In-house experience strongly preferred; global or multi‑jurisdiction exposure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Serve as legal advisor to Procurement on SaaS, technology, energy, logistics, and supply‑chain agreements.
• Advise Integrated Supply Chain stakeholders on risk management, contract structure, and dispute avoidance.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and internal teams on litigation support and remedial actions.
• Support international matters from time to time and operate with high independence.
• Protect company strategy while aligning with business objectives.
