Qualifications

• PhD in Media & Communication from a recognised university.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant teaching, research, or industry experience.
• Strong publication record with 2–3 indexed journal publications (ISI/Scopus Q1/Q2) in the last 5 years.
• Proven ability to secure external research grants as Principal Investigator, with a cumulative value of RM20,000–RM30,000.
• Scopus h-index of at least 3 is advantageous.
• Excellence in teaching delivery, curriculum development, and student engagement.
• Experience with innovative teaching methods and educational technologies.
• Active involvement in research, consultancy, or professional practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching through lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions.
• Contribute to curriculum design, review, and enhancement to ensure programmes remain current and aligned with accreditation standards.
• Develop engaging teaching materials using digital tools and modern pedagogical approaches.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and mentor students.
• Engage in administrative duties and participate in meetings and committees.
• Pursue scholarly research, publish in indexed journals, and seek external funding.
