Job summary

Lincoln Property Company in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Lease Administrator to manage a portfolio of complex commercial leases. You will abstract terms, validate billings, perform audits, and monitor critical dates, serving as a technical resource for a team of Lease Administrators.

You will work with property management, accounting, and legal teams to resolve disputes, prepare analyses, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field required.
  • 4-6 years of lease administration or commercial real estate experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and administer complex commercial lease documents.
  • Proficiency in lease administration software (Yardi, MRI, Lucernex) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Abstract and interpret complex lease terms, amendments, and exhibits for an assigned portfolio of properties.
  • Review and validate tenant billings, including rent, CAM, tax, and other recoverable charges, for accuracy and lease compliance.
  • Conduct lease audits and reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies between lease terms and billed amounts.
  • Monitor critical lease dates and communicate upcoming renewals, options, and expirations to stakeholders.
  • Serve as a technical resource to Lease Administrators on complex lease interpretation and system issues.
  • Partner with property management, accounting, and legal teams to resolve lease-related discrepancies and disputes.
  • Prepare lease abstracts, variance analyses, and reports for property management and leadership.
  • Support system enhancements and process improvements for the lease administration function.
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new Lease Administrators.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job description

The Senior Lease Administrator manages lease administration for a portfolio of complex commercial properties, ensuring accurate lease abstraction, billing, and compliance, and serves as a resource to other Lease Administrators on complex lease matters.
