Job summary

Capital One seeks a Principal Associate, Learning Experience Designer to architect enterprise learning solutions. You will blend instructional design with learning experience design, storytelling, and data-driven methods to drive measurable behavioral change across leadership and enterprise audiences.

You will influence business learning strategy, guide modality selection, and elevate processes within a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience
• At least 3 years of experience creating a learning strategy and curriculum based on learner needs, business needs, and modern learning theories and models
• At least 2 years of experience with multimedia authoring tools like Articulate 360 or other online interactive e-Learning courseware

Responsibilities

• Act as a visionary architect for enterprise learning solutions and influence business intent.
• Use data-driven, iterative approaches to improve learning design at scale.
• Provide strategic design recommendations and guidance on modalities (self-paced, ILT, virtual, job aids).
• Design learning experiences tailored for leaders, executives, and diverse audiences.
• Champion MVP-first thinking with rapid prototyping and feedback loops.
• Collaborate with project leads, SMEs, and multimedia teams to translate content into actionable learning.
