Job summary

Duolingo is seeking a senior language educator and curriculum designer based in Pittsburgh to lead Hindi learning design for South Asian languages. You will shape courses with cultural insight, linguistic accuracy, and scalable, human-in-the-loop AI workflows.

You will collaborate across Product, Design, Engineering, and Scaling Operations to ship high-quality content while maintaining brand voice and educational impact. A graduate degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Deep proficiency in Hindi with experience teaching it as an additional language.
• Strong knowledge of linguistic diversity in India and South Asia.
• Experience designing Hindi curricula.
• Familiarity with Indo-Aryan and Dravidian language contexts is a plus.
• Ability to work with AI-assisted content generation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum and learning design for South Asian languages starting with Hindi.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, and Scaling Operations to plan roadmaps and experiments.
• Establish content quality guidelines and review workflows.
• Recruit and manage freelance educators and language experts.
