Humana Inc. seeks a Senior Learning Design Professional to partner with leaders and SMEs to design and develop AI-enabled learning solutions that strengthen technical capability and performance.
You will translate capability needs into measurable objectives, practice, and performance support for enterprise AI initiatives. The role leverages generative AI tools and instructional design best practices, with the VSP pay model and flexible hours aligned to business needs.
Become a part of our caring community The Senior Learning Design Professional partners with business leaders, subject matter experts (SMEs), Enterprise AI product managers, and associates to design and develop learning solutions that strengthen technical AI capability and improve performance. You will create and scale practical learning experiences that help technical audiences build and apply the skills needed to support Enterprise AI priorities by leveraging performance consulting, adult learning theory, and instructional design best practices. You will translate capability needs into measurable learning objectives, relevant practice, and performance support while collaborating with SMEs and stakeholders across the organization. This role is part of the Variable Staffing Pool (VSP), which pays at an hourly rate. VSP Humana associates work part to full time hours based on business need. VSPs are not eligible for associate bonuses and receive limited benefits, which are effective upon hire. The hours for this role are generally aligned based on the associate and business task at hand. The Senior Learning Design Professional independently manages the design and development of learning solutions for assigned projects and initiatives. The role applies generative AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate learning design, content creation, assessment development, and learner support.
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

1 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
$71,100 - $97,800 per year
