Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Operational Excellence Engineer to drive manufacturing improvements using Lean Six Sigma. You will lead cross-functional teams, run value stream mapping, Kaizen events, and sustain cost-saving programs while aligning with business goals.

This onsite role requires travel to nearby facilities and collaboration across production, engineering, quality, and supply chain. You will deploy the Medtronic Performance System (MPS), coach teams, and deliver process excellence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of hands-on experience or advanced degree with 2+ years.
• Advanced Lean Six Sigma knowledge (Green/Black belt) preferred.
• Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects and Kaizen events.

Responsibilities

• Apply Lean Six Sigma and problem-solving to diagnose root causes and quantify value in manufacturing.
• Lead cross-functional value stream mapping and Kaizen events to identify inefficiencies.
• Organize and guide cross-functional teams, manage Kaizen roadmap and timely execution.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and supply chain for integrated solutions.
• Develop, monitor, and report KPIs to track progress and identify opportunities.
• Analyze operational data, perform cost-benefit analyses, present leadership with insights.
• Coach teams in Lean and Six Sigma, building a continuous improvement mindset.
