Job summary

Edward Jones in Tempe, AZ is seeking an experienced Operational Leader to oversee mutual fund operations, ensuring accurate and compliant daily work and leading end-to-end processing initiatives.

You will coach a team of up to 15 associates, drive process improvements and automation, and collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Technology, and external fund partners to strengthen client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years leading operational teams in a financial services environment.
• Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end performance of mutual fund operations functions.
• Oversee trade corrections, trade rejects, PAC/SWP administration, omnibus processing, reconciliations, and fund facts processing.
• Ensure achievement of service level objectives while balancing risk, regulatory requirements, and client experience expectations.
• Monitor operational performance metrics and implement action plans to improve productivity, quality, and service delivery.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, financial, regulatory, and client service risks across systems, functions, and processes.
• Develop partnerships with Risk, Compliance, Technology, Internal Audit, External Audit, fund companies, and operational business partners.
