FIS is seeking an experienced financial leader to partner with Technology leadership in Jacksonville.
You will drive strategic planning, investment strategies, and forecasting, building financial models across operating expenses, capital, headcount, and vendor spend. The role requires translating complex analytics into actionable recommendations for executive teams and developing executive-ready materials.
Technology Strategy, Planning & Governance Partner with Technology leadership to develop strategic plans, investment strategies, and operating models that support business objectives. Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, organizational planning, and executive decision-making. Evaluate business cases, investment opportunities, and trade-offs across technology portfolios. Serve as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders on planning, prioritization, and resource allocation decisions.
Financial Planning & Forecasting Own the financial planning and forecasting process for the Technology organization, including monthly, quarterly, annual, and multi-year planning cycles. Develop and maintain financial models covering operating expenses, capital investments, headcount, vendor spend, and strategic initiatives. Partner with Finance and Technology leaders to analyze variances, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions. Support budget development and long-range planning activities.
Technology Cost Optimization & Investment Management Identify opportunities to reduce costs and optimize technology investments across infrastructure, cloud, software, vendors, and workforce spending. Analyze technology spending trends and develop recommendations that improve efficiency while supporting strategic priorities. Build business cases and financial analyses to support investment decisions. Partner with Procurement and Technology leadership to evaluate vendor strategies, contract renewals, and sourcing opportunities.
Capacity & Resource Planning Develop frameworks that align technology demand with available resources, including employees, contractors, and strategic partners. Model various staffing, funding, and investment scenarios to support leadership decision-making. Translate workforce and infrastructure plans into financial impacts and business outcomes. Surface risks, dependencies, and trade-offs associated with changing priorities.
Data Integration & Executive Insights Integrate financial, operational, workforce, and vendor data from multiple enterprise systems to create a consistent view of technology performance. Establish reporting standards, metrics, dashboards, and KPIs that support executive decision-making. Develop executive-ready presentations and materials for senior Technology and Finance leadership. Translate complex analyses into concise recommendations with clear business impact.
8+ years of experience in FP&A, Technology Finance, Technology Business Management (TBM), Technology Strategy, Business Operations, or Management Consulting. Experience supporting large technology organizations, CIO/CTO functions, or technology operations teams. Strong financial planning, forecasting, modeling, and analytical skills. Ability to translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for senior leaders. Experience with executive reporting, dashboards, and presentations. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan, SAP, Oracle, or similar tools preferred. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. Bonus if you have Technology Business Management (TBM), FinOps, or IT Financial Management experience. Technology vendor management, sourcing, or procurement experience. Consulting experience supporting technology organizations. MBA, CPA, CFA, or similar advanced credential.
