Kyndryl is seeking a technical leader to guide the design and delivery of enterprise solutions for clients like ADOT. You will combine hands-on backend work with systems thinking to drive scalable, cloud-native architectures and robust RESTful services.

You will mentor engineers, run code reviews, set technical standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy logic, containerize applications, and deploy across cloud environments.

Qualificações

• Proven software engineering experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
• Strong coding and debugging in Java, Python, or .NET.
• Solid grasp of OOP, design patterns.
• Databases (relational and NoSQL), RESTful services, and data formats (JSON/XML).

The Role

Do you want to help modernize mission-critical systems and build scalable, modern software?

As a technical leader within Kyndryl’s App Dev, Data & AI team, you will guide the design and delivery of key enterprise solutions. In this role, supporting initiatives for clients like the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), you will connect high-volume core platforms with cloud-native applications to deliver resilient, scalable products.

Your hands‑on backend expertise (Java, Python, or .NET), alongside practical knowledge of microservices, RESTful APIs, and databases (relational and NoSQL), will drive development forward. Beyond writing clean code, designing components, and troubleshooting across the full SDLC, you will conduct code reviews, define technical standards, and mentor fellow engineers.

You will translate complex requirements into clean architectural designs, help refactor legacy logic for containerized and cloud environments, run product demos, and partner closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver dependable software.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Proven software engineering experience delivering enterprise‑scale solutions
• Strong coding and debugging skills in modern backend technologies (Java, Python, .NET, or equivalent)
• Solid grasp of software development practices, OOP principles, and design patterns
• Hands‑on experience with relational and NoSQL databases, RESTful web services, and data formats (JSON/XML)
• Practical foundation in microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and messaging queues
• Experience guiding technical choices, running code reviews, and mentoring team members

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (GCP)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, and cloud‑native practices
• Exposure to legacy system refactoring or cloud modernization initiatives

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $115,080 to $218,520 based on a full‑time schedule.

Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job‑related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.

There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California (San Francisco Bay Area): $138,120 to $262,320

California (All Other): $126,600 to $240,480

Colorado: $115,080 to $218,520

Massachusetts: $115,080 to $240,480

New York City: $138,120 to $262,320

Washington: $126,600 to $240,480

Washington DC: $126,600 to $240,480

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
