Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: React/ReactJS, Redux, Angular/AngularJS, ExtJS, JQuery, NodeJS.
• Proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, and relational databases (RDS Postgres or equivalents).
• Lead and mentor engineers, providing technical guidance and code reviews to improve delivery quality.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code for repeatable deployments.
• Cloud experience with AWS.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and responsible AI practices.

As a Senior Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack React/AWS in Digital Technology within Consumer and Community Banking Technology, you drive end-to-end delivery of secure, stable, and scalable software that enables market-leading digital products. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Hands‑on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Proficiency in any of the front end technology like React/ReactJS, Redux, Angular/AngularJS, ExtJS, JQuery, NodeJS
• Proficiency in technologies like Java, Spring Boot, RDS Postgres or any Relational Database.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and code reviews to improve delivery quality and team velocity.
• Hands‑on experience with infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, developing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code modules for repeatable, scalable, and auditable deployments.
• Practical cloud native experience in AWS
• Demonstrated experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., for coding, code review, test acceleration, troubleshooting) with the ability to set team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations; experience coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption within delivery practices

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Proficient in React and NodeJS.
• Experience in AWS with hands‑on experience provisioning infrastructure using Terraform.
