Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer in its Corporate Sector - Liquidity Risk to join a fast-paced agile team. You will drive design decisions, deliver secure production code, and act as a technical SME across multiple technologies in a large enterprise.

You will collaborate with global teams to implement scalable architectures, apply CI/CD practices, and ensure reliability, performance, and security in critical financial systems.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience

Job responsibilities

• Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced in one or more programming language including Java and/or Python
• Strong Big-Data and database skills including Spark, Databricks, and/or Data Lake
• Experience with AWS cloud computing using ECS, EKS, EMR, Lambda, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
• Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment
• Ability to collaborate well with global teams in geographically distributed locations across time zones
• Self-starter, able to reach out to various team members, users and partner teams to get solutions delivered
• Familiar with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
