Lead across agile teams, enhance and deliver trusted technology products in a secure, scalable way, and stay at the forefront of industry trends.

You will drive strategic development of new and existing products and technology portfolios, mentoring engineers and promoting innovation to deliver business impact at scale.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced in one or more programming language(s).
• Demonstrated prior experience with influencing across functions and teams and delivering value at scale.
• Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex technology problems across various technical disciplines.
• Practical cloud native experience.
• Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Chief Technology Office's Engineering Services & Platforms organizations, you will utilize your extensive engineering expertise to collaborate across agile teams, enhancing, building, and delivering trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. You will leverage your deep knowledge to consistently challenge the status quo, promote innovation for business impact, and help lead the strategic development of both new and existing products and technology portfolios. Additionally, you will stay at the forefront of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements.

Job Responsibilities

• Helps guide and apply the development of multiple products, applications, and technologies across a portfolio

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• External and internal developer advocacy experience
• Nice to have: Stack Overflow Q&A engagement. Moderation experience a plus.
• Nice to have: External Conference Speakers (e.g. JavaOne, Devnexus, Java User Group Meetups)
