You will lead technologists, drive AI-assisted engineering practices, and collaborate with product teams to translate trading strategies into efficient algorithms for options and equities.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience leading technologists to solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise.
• Advanced in Java with strong data structures, algorithms, and multithreading knowledge.
• Experience leading enterprise‑approved AI‑assisted software development tools and validating AI outputs.
• Familiarity with algorithmic trading systems and trading protocols such as FIX.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and trading domain knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
• Designs and refactors algorithms for options trading with a focus on execution and performance.
• Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices and governance across teams.
• Collaborates with product teams to translate trading strategies into scalable algorithms.
• Improves performance, testing coverage, and reliability of trading systems.
• Provides technical guidance to business units, contractors, and vendors.
